From startups to storage bins
Hi, I’m Stacey.
Former startup executive. Current pantry enthusiast.
For nearly 15 years, I built systems for fast-growing companies and helped scale businesses from scrappy ideas to hundreds of millions of dollars in value. You can stalk my past life here.
Somewhere between board meetings and reorganizing my closet for fun, I started noticing that state of your environment directly impacts how your nervous system operates. The spaces we move through every day are constantly asking something of us: making decisions, searching for things, processing visual clutter, managing unfinished tasks. And when those systems aren’t working, that friction adds up.
My favorite part about organizing is the moment when something overwhelming became simple. The best systems don’t just solve a problem once, they keep working for you long after they’re built. They reduce friction, eliminate unnecessary decisions, and give you back time and energy.
That’s the philosophy behind Exhale: creating homes that are thoughtfully organized, easy to maintain, and designed to support the way you want to feel every day.
Today, I use the same systems-thinking approach to help people create homes that feel calmer, lighter, and easier to live in. Because organizing isn’t really about organizing. It’s about how a space functions when you have no brain cells left at the end of a long day. Or something home from a great trip. Or when you’d just rather spend your Sunday relaxing.
Turns out organizing a kitchen isn’t all that different from scaling a company. You:
Figure out what’s working
Get rid of what’s not
Create systems that work without brain cells
Try very hard not to lose the snacks
Just thoughtful systems, practical solutions, and a home that keeps working for you even after you run out of steam.
The payoff isn’t that the drawer looks pretty. The payoff is that six months later:
you don’t have to think about where anything is,
decisions have already been made,
your environment supports you instead of demanding things from you.
